Valentine's Day is getting closer, so I thought I'd share with you an idea I found on Pinterest for sharing love with people you love - a countdown to Valentine's Day! It could a fun idea to adapt to use with your grandchildren . . . while the link I originally used no longer works, I still love this idea!
You just need 14 fun ideas for communicating your love to special people in your life! Consider the following -
- "You make my heart 'bubble' over!" and attach it to is any carbonated beverage, Bubble Tape, or Bubble Yum, but I'd use a bottle of bubbles!
- "All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt." - of course, this would involve heart-shaped chocolates!
- "You have a choco-lot of my heart!" with a chocolate bar
- "I’m nuts about you!" with Reese’s Pieces or Peanut Butter Cups or any type of nuts.
- "I’m beary happy to know you!" for gummy bears
- "I donut know what I’d do without you!" for donuts
- "We were mint to be together!" for a mint gift.
- "You’re one smart cookie!" - add cookies of course!
- "I love you s'more every day!" - and the fixings for making smores
- "You make my heart glow!" with glo sticks
- "We make a great pair" - a fun pair of socks
- "Let’s stick together!" - heart stickers
- "You're O-fish-ally my favorite!" with fish crackers
- "I love you berry much!" with berries or fruit
This would be so fun to put together for your grandchildren . . . just pack everything in a big box, individually wrap each item so your grandchildren can open one each day leading up to Valentine's Day! It would also be a fun project for you to work on with your grandchildren as a way to brighten the day of a shut-in or elderly neighbor you know! Have fun!
