crafting with grandma . . . Cold, World Snow Day Fun - a Snowman

Today is World Snow Day and where I live there is definitely snow on the ground! The weather people are saying more snow and cold weather are on the way, so . . . I guess it is time to think about a craft you can make, and enjoy, on a snowy, cold day! (One you can enjoy even if you happen to live where you do not get snow, too!)

I spent some time browsing on Pinterest and found the perfect cold and snowy day craft . . . a Hot Cocoa Snowman! What could be more perfect for a cold day?!!! The link took me to the blog, "For What It's Worth . . . or Not" - while I can't get the link for making it, just look at the photo - it is pretty easy to see how to make your own snowman filled with all the necessities for an enjoyable mug of hot cocoa! It looks like you just need two jars - fill one with cocoa mix, the other with mini marshmallows - decorate to look like a snowman and you will be all set.

This little snowman would be great fun to make with your grandchildren on a snowy, cold day . . . make one for them to take home, one for them to give to a neighbor who needs a warm spot to brighten their day, and one to keep at grandma's house . . . after all, what could be better than enjoying a mug of warm cocoa at grandma's on a cold and snowy day? Have fun and as you make these snowmen with your grandchildren, be sure to spend time praying for the people who receive them!
