It is Time for the Butterflies!

Do you, or someone you love, have a love for butterflies? Do you find them interesting, beautiful, and so much fun to observe? If so, then Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is the place for you at some point during the months of March and April for their yearly Butterfly Extravaganza - Butterflies are Blooming! My family looks forward to this each Spring - I am hoping to find the Costa Rica Glass-wing Butterflies this year!

Butterflies Are Blooming is a seasonal favorite at Frederik MeijerGardens & Sculpture Park and the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the United States. Now in its 31st year, the exhibition offers a warm, colorful escape filled with thousands of live butterflies.

What You’ll Experience

• It’s a tropical environment inside the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory.
  
• Butterflies fly freely all around you.
• New butterflies emerge weekly, so every visit is different.
• Enjoy close-up views at butterfly feeding stations.

My husband and I were able to enjoy butterflies this past Friday

morning - and are looking forward to many more times with the butterflies as we tend to go most Tuesday nights throughout the exhibit. I highly recommend Butterflies are Blooming - be sure to bring your camera!
