crafting with grandma . . . Cute Chicks!

Resurrection Sunday . . . otherwise known as Easter . . . is just a few weeks away, so I thought I'd share a cute, simple and fun craft with you which I found - of course - on Pinterest! These little chicks would be great fun to make with your grandchildren, or for them. All you need is, egg cartons, paint, markers, cardstock, scissors and glue. Of course you will also need goodies to fill these little chicks, when they are all finished!

You could simplify this craft by just allowing little ones to color the egg cartons with crayons or markers instead of paint. Enjoy making these with or for your grandchildren - you could tweak these a touch and make ducklings and just for the fun of it, make them all kinds of colors! 

Don't you think they would be great fun to use for a "treasure hunt"? You could hide the little chicks/ducklings around your home and then send your grandchildren off to find the little lost chicks/ducklings! How might you use this craft with your grandchildren?
