"Unless Someone Like You Cares a Whole Awful Lot . . ."

The Dr. Seuss Quote for today . . . "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not!" First of all, this quote makes me think of a few questions  . . . "What do I care about?" "Who do I care about?" "How much do I care?" "What am I willing to DO in regards to what and who I care about?" Yes, these are questions for each of us to ask ourselves and then to make the choice to care and act so things will be better - for us and for the ones we love. This is an essential message for us to help the children we love learn as well.

We are able to make a difference in this world - it may not feel like it at times, but if we connect with people who understand and will, "have our back" this will help us be strong and experience joy. Then, once we have taken care of ourselves, we will be able to, "Care a whole awful lot" so things will be better for others as well. Consider not only connecting with others, but you might also find opportunities to volunteer with groups in your community which are making a difference - so you are able to take action to help things be better. Find ways to involve the children you love in taking action to help things be better, too.
