Spread Hope

With all the challenges and corruption going on around us, it may be difficult to feel hopeful, but it is helpful for our own wellbeing to stop and think about the reasons we do have to be thankful and hopeful.  Since there are so many people in our families, neighborhoods, communities, and world who struggle to find hope, I wanted to write to remind us to do what we are able to do to  counteract the difficulties life brings by dedicating ourselves to spread hope around our neighborhoods, communities, and all around the world today and every day.

Consider the following ways to spread hope . . .
  • Smiling boosts your mood and your health, as does laughter. They are often contagious. And they send the message, “We’re in this together.”
  • Remember to still encourage, praise, and thank others. Those small acts mean even more in times of trouble.
  • There is always something you can be grateful for. Acknowledging those things brings you peace and assurance. And when you share what you’re thankful for with others, you pass on the benefits of gratitude to them.
  • Kindness gives hope to others. Any act of kindness will give a rise in hope for the receiver and the giver.
You will find more ideas at this link.

It is still essential to be someone who watches what is happening around us and who stands up and speaks up, but while you do these things, also make time to share these hope ideas with the ones you love today.
