Children's Day - Yes, It Is Real!

In three day's - on June 14th - it is Children's Day! Yes, it is a real holiday . . . (If you look it up on Google, it says the USA celebrates Children's Day on the second Sunday in June - this has been the official date since the 1800's - I really did not make this holiday up!!!) :-) 

My grands always looked forward to when they were younger - they still enjoy it now they are older. They choose the menu and I give gifts. We have fun for sure! <3 ♥ ♥(Like I really need an excuse to celebrate my grands, but Children's Day is a fun day to do so!)

And, along with the fun, I plan to use this day to be intentional about reminding them how much I love them, how very thankful I am God blessed our family with each of them and how much He loves them!

A couple years ago my youngest grand told me his friend had never heard about Children's Day. After he told his friend all about it, his friend wanted to know why nobody ever told him about it before!

I love Children's Day - one of my favorite days of the year . . . for very good reason!
