Daylily & Standard Flower Shows at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park This Weekend!

I have been writing about Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park quite a bit lately - there is a lot of wonderful things going on there - but I want to let you know about two special things happening this weekend which are free for anyone to enjoy! First of all the Daylily Show and then the Standard Flower Show!

Daylily Show

Saturday: Displays | 11 am–5 pm

Complimentary admission.

Daylily flowers last for just one day—and so does this show! See an amazing variety of daylily flowers which vary in size from less than one inch across to almost 10 inches.

Standard Flower Show Hosted by the Kent Garden Club

Saturday: Displays | 2–5 pm
Sunday: Displays | 11 am–5 pm
Complimentary admission

This show features floral designs and a horticulture division which includes beautiful flowers and foliage grown and artistically arranged by members of Kent Garden Club, West Michigan Flower Arranger’s Guild, and Michigan Garden Club District IV.

If you enjoy Daylilies and flowers in general, and live near, or will be visiting Grand Rapids, MI, then plan to visit Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park for these two flower shows!

While the flower shows are free, you will need tickets to enter the Sculpture Park/Garden and see the Chihuly exhibit - so while you are there for the Flower shows, get some tickets and enjoy all Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park has to offer!
