Cost of Living and Housing

High prices for everyday goods, utilities, and telecom services.
Extreme housing affordability crisis and low rental availability in major cities like Toronto and Vancouver.
Difficulty building a local credit score from scratch.

Employment and Credentials

Employers often demand local Canadian work experience.
Foreign degrees, certifications, and professional licenses frequently require re-qualification.
Highly competitive job markets relative to the size of the economy.
