CHIHULY Radiant Forms at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

For the past 14 days I have been writing about Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park's special Dale Chihuly exhibit which you are able to enjoy now through November 1st just outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I thought it would be interesting to share with you some information I found online about each of the pieces/displays which make up Chihuly at Meijer, and have been doing so. I have two more Chihuly exhibits I want to share with you - today I'm writing about the gallery of Chihuly pieces which you have to buy an extra ticket to see CHIHULY Radiant Forms at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park -

CHIHULY: Radiant Forms is an indoor gallery exhibition at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Showcasing four decades of iconic works and original drawings by artist Dale Chihuly, the popular exhibition has been extended through January 10, 2027, due to high visitor demand. 

Exhibition Highlights

Traces over 40 to 60 years of the artist's evolution and experimentation with light, color, and form.
Features famous series including Baskets, Cylinders, Ikebana, Persians, and Venetians.
Includes original drawings, paintings on glass, and a rare fax-room installation. 

Ticketing and Visiting Details

Location: Sculpture Galleries at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, Grand Rapids, MI.
Dates: Extended through January 10, 2027 (note that the separate outdoor Chihuly garden installations close November 1, 2026).
Admission: Requires a specific timed-entry ticket separate from general park admission.

CHIHULY Radiant Forms is an "extravaganza" of Chihuly art for you to enjoy. You will find interesting vases, beautiful bowls, and surprising sculptures as you work your way through each room of the indoor Sculpture Gallery. I loved how Chihuly combined so much color, and shapes in unexpected ways to make beautiful glass art. While you need an extra ticket to see CHIHULY Radiant Forms, you are able to browse, and take your time (and lots of photos), as you enjoy this amazing art!

If you live near Frederik Meijer Gardens be sure to check out the Chihuly exhibit - if you do not live near Grand Rapids, MI, then please make a plan to visit . . . the only other place in the world where you are able to see a Chihuly exhibit similar to the one at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is in Venice, Italy!
