My grands love popcorn - we typically have it when then are at our house for their weekly sleepover, so today I want to write about an amazing popcorn I received for review . . .
Today is NOT National Polka Dot Day, January 22nd, is actually this wonderful day, but since I enjoy wearing glasses with polka dots - they add such a fun touch to my glasses for sure (I'm wearing my Pride Party Dots topper and Holiday Bauble with Foil Crystal topper both from Pride Eyewear.) I thought it would be fun to celebrate Polka Dots again today - one day a year is clearly NOT enough!
I read about this "spotty" holiday and learned it is intended to celebrate Minnie Mouse - she does wear polka dots. But I think it is a day to enjoy these dots beyond the Mouse for sure! Here are a few ways to celebrate - even on a day which is not the technical "holiday".

I'm very happy to share a book with you which will make a difference in the lives of the children you love. Are you one of the grandmas (or grandpas) who are so blessed to have grown children who love and walk with God, and who are committed to hand down confident faith with you to the children you all love? Do your grandchildren want to go to church, want to talk about their walk with God, and embrace a confident faith of their own? Or, do you have grown children who, like so many their age, are no longer involved in church, who do not embrace a confident faith of their own, and/or grandchildren who tell you they are, "not into that church thing any more"?
Grandmas have many important things they do - the things which make them who they are. As you live out your life as grandma, focus upon living your love for God on purpose, so your grandchildren see Him in all you do and say.

Summer is upon us - this means the outside will become significantly more inviting, so if you - or someone you love - has mobility issues, then definitely consider getting a Centuro Mini and you will discover you (or they) are able to enjoy the outdoors and all Summer has to offer!
Yesterday I wrote about Gros Morne on the East Coast of Canada, and today I'm writing about Gulf Island National Park Reserve on the West Coast of Canada - two very beautiful and surprising National Parks in Canada!

One thing we always do with the children we love from the time they are born is comfort them, encourage them, show love and kindness to them. As they grow up we are able to see how they took this comfort, encouragement, love, and kindness they received and incorporate it into the way they respond to others. Today I want to share with you one of the times I was able to see and experience this with my grands.
So, for the past month I've been learning a lot about Canada - and today I learned this week is Canadian Environment Week - sounds like a great idea to me!
If you want to visit a National Park where you will see nature in all it's beauty and things which are unique, which you may not be able to see anywhere else, then Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada is absolutely the place for you to visit!
With Summer just around the corner I want to let you know about the new books in my Candy the Kitten . . . and Me! books - today I want to let you know about one the children you love are sure to enjoy - What Makes Candy Purr? In this fun story children will get to learn about the things which make Candy, a sweet little calico kitten, purr. And, not only will they discover the things which make Candy purr, but they will be surprised to learn about animals which are not cats, but still are able to purr . . . such as bears! Did you know bears purr? In What Makes Candy Purr? the children you love will enjoy discovering not only about the things which make Candy purr, but will be surprised to learn about other animals which purr, too!
Summer is nearly here - school will be out, and the days will be hot, so . . . what could be more fun than making and playing with sponge bombs! I found this link on Pinterest, but when I tried to follow it to the site with the directions, it told me it had been reported the site had spam, so I found another one for you!
