While we all likely were able to breathe a short breath of relief when the massively corrupt war criminal who currently occupies the white house didn't carry though on his war crime threats for the, "whole civilization to die, never to be brought back again." those two weeks are gone and now it sounds like he is making war crime threats again and is once again bringing us all to a place none of us wants to be.

As a mom and grandma I want the world in which those I love are living to be a place where they are safe. I want them to be able to live their lives without the shame of being part of a country which commits war crimes and murders innocent people in other countries. I want them to grow up treating others with love and acceptance. It is for these reasons I have to speak up today.

For the past few days this "Lost Canadian" has been learning and writing about Providences and Territories in Canada - today I'm sharing with you what I have learned about New Brunswick. As you travel up the East Coast of Canada, you will find New Brunswick - Quebec and the US State of Maine to the West, the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Northumberland Strait to the east, and the Bay of Fundy to the south. I've learned some very interesting facts about this Providence and believe it is a place I would very much enjoy visiting!

Have you ever wondered, or been concerned, if you might be spoiling your grandchildren? Well, worry no longer, because it is impossible to spoil your grandchildren! If they were truly, "spoiled" we would have to throw them away, and of course we would never do such a thing! It is, however; possible, and highly likely, you will "well-love" them. Take heart! God sets the example for us of what it looks like to do this, because He absolutely well-loves us! When we follow God's example, we will understand both the joys and responsibilities of handing down a heritage of faith to our grandchildren.

If you are looking for a craft you could help your grandchildren make for their mom for Mother's Day, consider this one I found on Pinterest  . . . wind chimes!!! They will be able to decorate the clay pots however they like - just give them permanent ink pens . . . yes, I know the potential for getting ink on them is quite high, but you'll be able to remove or cover their shirts and have anti-bacterial hand gel available because a little of this takes ink off of hands . . . and arms . . . and faces . . . pretty much any skin which they they may get covered with ink! And yes, they are more likely than not to get ink on their skin!

Yesterday was Dandelion Day!

Yes, yesterday was Dandelion Day as it was the day when I saw the first Dandelions of the year in my yard - Dandelion Day! Hooray!

It won't be long before everywhere I look I will be able to see one of my favorite flowers blooming . . . this flower is bright, sunny and a lovely shade of yellow . . . and it is known as the Dandelion!

I know. Your reaction is likely similar to my grands' reactions. When they were younger they told me Dandelions are weeds, not flowers, but I told them I still loved them anyway! Within minutes of hearing this conversation, my middle grand brought me a handful of these yellow flower-weeds! Over the years I've received many handfuls of dandelions!

As I look at photos of Newfoundland and Labrador, I can see why people want to live here as this area is beautiful! It has everything - oceans with Puffins and Whales, Icebergs, Mountains, Forests, Lakes, extremely interesting history, and modern cities - certainly visiting - or even living here - would leave you with experiences you may not find in other places for sure. What more could a person want?
