Do you have older grands? If so, you could teach them how to make these beautiful flower balls for their mother for Mother's Day! (They might also make a lovely, thoughtful and unique gift for an end-of-year teacher gift!)

Thoughts From a "Lost Canadian" About the Northwest Territories
This "Lost Canadian" grew up in Michigan, so I know what it is like to live in cold and snow . . . or at least I thought I did. If I were to compare Michigan to the Northwest Territory of Canada, Michigan could be said to be nearly "balmy"! I am very happy to share with you some surprising and definitely "chilly" facts with you I have learned about the Northwest Territory.
Give the Gift of "Why" for Mother's Day

Mother's Day is just a few weeks away, so if you are looking for a gift to give a mom you know, consider giving them the gift of "why" with the new book - the little answer book. This little book will give them "whys" to share with the ones they love - to equip them to have a confident faith, and to have important conversations with the ones they love who have turned away from their faith.
Just for Fun!!! More Mom Facts!

Try Pair Eyewear and Save $25!
A year ago January when I had to get new glasses, I decided to try Pair Eyewear. This line of glasses was designed to have magnetic top frames which you are able to change out for an entirely new look and style - it is SUCH a fantastic idea! It is like getting an entirely new pair of glasses for only $25 or $30 - the cost of a new topper. I have to say, I absolutely LOVE Pair Eyewear!

crafting with grandma - Life-Sized Drawings!
One day, several years ago, when my sweet grands were younger, we took some large paper and had them lay on the paper, on the floor while I traced around them. They then got to work turning the drawings into Super Robot versions of themselves!!!

Thoughts From a "Lost Canadian" About Manitoba
As I wrote a few days ago, growing up in the USA, I learned many things about this country in school and by visiting 34 of the 50 States, but even though Canada was a close neighbor (I grew up in Michigan), I didn't know very much about Canada. When I learned about the new Canadian Bill C-3, and discovered over 1/3 of my ancestors were Canadians, I knew I needed to learn about Canada - especially since I will be able to receive citizenship once I gather all the necessary papers. Today I am very happy to share with you some of the things I've learned about the Canadian Province of Manitoba.
