The 4N1 - Great for Your Own Use & a Fantastic Grandparents Day Gift for Someone You Love!

 

I have been writing about receiving the Miracle Mobility 4N1 rollator/electric wheelchair and today I am happy to let you know about my experience using it. I went to a local garden/ sculpture park (Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park) and spent several hours driving it inside the building and outside in the garden and sculpture park - the following is what I think of the 4N1 -

Yesterday was National Dog Day!

Thursday evening a tornado went through about a mile from my house. My grandsons were here, so it did get a bit exciting for all. The power went out - we have a generator, so my husband hooked it up, but our internet also went out, so no posts for two days until everything was restored. Yesterday was National Dog Day, if I had internet I would have wrote about it yesterday, but dogs are wonderful, so every day should be National Dog Day - we will celebrate today! Dahlia Show at Frederik Meijer Gardens - Today!

If you live around or near Grand Rapids, Michigan, then today is your opportunity to get out and enjoy some amazing flowers at the Frederik Meijer Gardens - today is the second, and final day in their Dahlia Show! Today, Aug. 27, from 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., at Meijer Gardens’ first-floor Covenant Learning Center. Admission is free for all. Meijer Gardens collaborates with local plant clubs every year to launch a collection of flower shows. Each show is free and open to the public.

Our Special Song - Try It with Your Grandchildren!

When my sweet grandsons were little I sang a particular song to them at nap-time and bedtime. When I sang this song, they stopped fussing, listened, and peacefully went to sleep. I may have had to sing it thirty times in a row (which did actually happen), but they always settled down and went to sleep with a smile on their face!

I have grandsons and the one who is 15 absolutely enjoys waffles. When he spends the night at our house (typically once a week) he almost always has waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage links, and coffee for breakfast! grandma's chuckles - Kisses are Weird!

I have three grandsons; they are almost fifteen, about to turn twelve, and nearly ten. I LOVE EVERYTHING about being a grandma . . . the hugs, the kisses, the sweet smiles, reading  books, playing games, making cookies . . . the list goes on and on! 

The Little Ginormous, Humongous, Hairy, One-Eyed Monster Boys Adventures!

  

Recently I shared how when my grandsons were young and at my house for a sleepover, we typically made up stories at bedtime. They almost always had monsters or dinosaurs in them. One night when my oldest grandson was six, my middle grandson was three, and my youngest grandson was one, we were getting them into bed when my oldest grandson said he saw a monster under his brother's bed! This was not what my middle grandson wanted to hear, so I said there could not be any monsters under his bed because the monsters were at their poppa's and grandma's house getting ready for bed on their sleepover. My grandsons found this idea very interesting, so of course, our bedtime story for the night had to have little, ginormous, humongous, hairy, one-eyed monster boys getting ready for bed and being scared because they thought they saw, teeny, tiny, itty, bitty, not-so-hairy, two-eyed people boys under their beds!
